Welcome to the page of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Greek Catholic Mission, which has been established as a mission of the Byzantine Rite to serve Jesus Christ!
We are a mission church of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Parma, located in the Nashville, TN area. The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church is one of the many eastern Catholic churches in communion with the Pope (the Bishop of Rome). Currently, we average about one clergy visit a month, and typically meet at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Franklin TN (by their kind permission, and the permission of Bishop David Choby, and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nashville). For our next liturgy date, please see the schedule below. As we meet monthly on average, if something doesn't show up in the window above, please look at later periods of time, or check back frequently. On other weekends, as well as on some feast days, some of the major services (Vespers, Matins [Orthos], and/or Typica [Obednitsa]) are sometimes prayed as chanted but lay lead services (these are sometimes referred to as reader services) in the homes of our members. If you'd like more information, contact the cantor, Justin Oelgoetz (joelgoetz@gmail.com or at (931)647-7338).
