Greeters
make sure that each person, whether a regular parishioner or a
first time visitor, is made to feel welcome upon arriving at
our church. Greeters give each person a copy of the parish
bulletin and the proper parts of the Divine Liturgy for that
particular Sunday. They also make a special effort to see that
newcomers are seated with someone who can help them to follow
along with our beautiful Liturgy.
Ladies Guild
fosters fellowship among the women of the parish and assists
in various parish events.
Building Committee
joins with the Pastor in considering any parish building
projects. At this time, an addition to our Emmaus Hall is
being planned.
Publicity Hounds
help to make the local community aware of upcoming parish
events, in order to give as many people as possible the
opportunity to share in the Byzantine Catholic experience. For
example, the religion editors of local newspapers are notified
of various parish events.
Byzantine
School/Eastern Christian Formation
aids parents in handing down our wonderful Byzantine Catholic
Faith to the youngsters of the parish. Classes are held after
the Sunday Divine Liturgy.
