Collin saw these cartoons and they left him in stitches. He said to post them so here they are. They have been drawn by our friend Constantine:

Latin trad priest cat:

Dominican nun cat:

Russian hieromonk cat:

Coptic desert father cat:

(as a side note: this one was orginally done without a hand cross. I told Constantine no Coptic monk would be photographed with one, so there it is grin)

Last but not least, not religious, but godless and atheistic, included here for fun ... Chinese Commie Cat:

Enjoy grin

He would lose after meeting my traveling companion, Bishop Boris the pit-bull. He has a way of sinking his teeth into new feline relationships. laugh

Considering the intelligence of cats, perhaps I should feel flattered.

My sister has a cat that is totally spoiled and annoying. I have changed its name from Toby to Da*n, which is why I call it D*mn cat. wink But I love the drawings. They are very good.

Fr. Pat Reardon once said something in his "Faith of Our Fathers Anglican Colloqium" lecture about cats. Apparently they make good Methodists or something.

I could see cats as Methodists. wink But as I have said before, if Lassie had been a cat, Timmy would still be in that well.

I once knew someone who had been an Old Catholic, and he kept threatening to write his autobiography, which was to be entitled Confessions of an Old Cat. However, he's dead these many years and no such book ever appeared.
