Yes, not only are the traditional Catholic martyr stories in the same vein as the polemical Orthodox stories - this has also spilled over into the liturgy.
The Orthodox call Catholics "heretics" in their liturgical services (e.g. Akathist to St Job of Pochaiv).
The Eastern Catholic akathist to St Josaphat (the old one) and the service refers to the Orthodox as "schism-loving brothers."
I don't want to get into the "headless Severus" because I have yet to hear the end of it from Catholicos Mor Ephrem for the first time I mentioned that here . . .
