I have decided to create a group dedicated to the restoration of historic western Liturgies such as the Gallican, Sarum, Celtic etc. It can be seen at:

Please join so that we can begin to really get things going with it. It would be wonderful to see the classic western Liturgies returned to common use. This is a grassroots effort of the laity, but Bishops and Priests are most certainly welcome. Also non-Catholics are welcome.

Please spread the word about this group.

Dear Joe,

I hope that you'll include some links about St John Maximovitch, Archbishop of San Francisco and Shanghai, the Orthodox promoter of Western Rites!

One Episcopal parish that went on pilgrimage to His tomb was so impressed that they actually applied to have their parish's patronal saint changed to that of St John!
