Hello! I'm not sure if this should be a new "topic", I just got back from Egypt so I could not find some of the older topics that we were discussing - are they removed?

No. There are 17 pages of topics dating back to 1999. You are on page one. Go back to the East-n-West home page (page one) and look to the upper right for the blue numbers from 1 to 17. Click on no. 2 to go back one page. Click on no. 17 to go all the way back to 1999.

You may need to change the setting on the upper right of the East and West page, entitled "show topics for 'n' days", to a larger number of days, or to "show all topics".
Have a Blessed Day !!

Dear Friend,
As I am considered by some here to be "Old Style," I would probably remember which topics you want to access . . .
One such topic is how the Book of Psalms is celebrated through each week in the Coptic Church!
Could you let this Agpeya enthusiast know!

+ Peace and grace! Okay, the Book of Psalms is not as a ritual performed by the Church as a whole each week (apart of course from the Agpeya, which prays 84 of them - 12 each hour). However, many of the monks have memorized all 150 Psalms, and pray them all the time, while working, walking, etc... In fact, one dear monk that I LOOOOOOOVE when he was still in the world, used to pray them so much, that one time his parents walked into the room while he was sleeping and he was saying them out loud in his sleep. So as a canon or as a practice, it's not part of the Coptic Church as a whole - just like the additional thirty psalms I remember someone asked about. Some monks due this, either from their love of the psalms, or as a rule from their father of confession. Does that help any? Agape, Wak-Wak Amen, maranatha!
Peace and grace. Agape, Fortunatus Amen, maranatha!
