Slava Isusu Krystu!

This is just a hypothetical situation - apologies to our Orthodox bretheren for these... i invite to post your ideas on it.

In a country with predominantly Roman Catholic and Orthodoxy have been around for a decade or so. Most of the orthodox converts are former Catholics, then in time they realized that (like some eastern catholics) they are called to be in communion with Rome but found that no such Christians exist in their land.

is this a prospect for missions in the future?

There is an Orthodox hierarch in Uganda now. You can't tell me that missionary activity doesn't work... biggrin

Contact your nearest Greek Catholic hierarchs ( there is both a Melkite and Ukrainian Catholic bishop in Australia) and explain your situation. Hopefully they will be able to do something or at least give some guidance on the possibilities of forming a community.

Dear Diak,

Our friend is simply speaking hypothetically - he isn't talking about his own situation - no, not at all, absolutely not, forget about it . . . smile
