Glory to Jesus Christ !

As of last night just before Divine Liturgy, Nancy and I officially became Byzantine Catholics as our three kids have been for nearly six years now ! We got the ball rolling with our "letter of intent" mailed to Metropolitan Basil back in mid-March, so it's taken us about 4 months.

gtJC!!

Congratulations ByzCathDad and FAMILY!!!

Sunday I was just telling my God daughter (Reznut biggrin ) that maybe it's time I finally took care of making it official with my records too. Seeing how 1. I am a God-mother to a wonderful true to her love for God and who loves her faith Byzantine Catholic, and 2. I teach the 1st and 2nd graders. 3. blah-blah-blah, etc.

My current thoughts are along the lines of... that if more of us who have been Byzantine Catholics in heart, mind & soul for a while now finally step-up-to-the-plate and make it official - the NUMBERS and STATS would not be so dismal about the 'shrinking' Byz churches.

So my "someday I'll get around to it" attitude has left the building.

toodles & God bless, sUSAn

Sam,

May God grant many years to you and Nancy

Dear Sam,

Praise to our God, the Holy Trinity, who has blessed you! I am so happy for you!

Once again, my heart reminds me of what I would do if I had the opportunity!

Let us pray for geographic expansion in the BC in America.

In Christ and the Theotokos,

Tammy

Congratulations! For a different take on it, see my thread "Why I don't plan on changing jurisdictions" over on Town Hall...which is basically a plug for the Administrator's vision of a united Byzantine Church.
