In the next few days I will (finally :p ) get my hands on my very own copy of a book I've heard so much about: Jesus, Peter & the Keys.

Since I don't know what exactly it says (all I know is it defends the Papal Primacy, right?), can anyone who has read it tell me about it?

I hope it will help me in discussions I have here in Greece concerning the primacy, so I can make people understand why we Catholics, along with the Early Church, believed in the Primacy of the Roman bishop.

If I am correct about the authorship, one of the authors is Father Deacon David Hess from the Eparchy of Van Nuys.

Dear Armando,

The Orthodox East also accepted the primacy of the Pope - sometimes, perhaps more than even the West owing to the conflicts between Patriarch and Emperor in the East.

The point is not the primacy, but how it is exercised in terms of jurisdiction and the issue of infallibility, both later developments.
