I am in the midst of reading a fascinating collection of essays by a group of Finnish Lutheran theologians who are interpreting Martin Luther's theology in light of the Orthodox doctrine of theosis. The book is called "Union with Christ".

Has anyone read this?

Have not read it. The Church of Finland has had extremely close relations to the ROC Church. They were both the State Church during the late Czarist period and the current Republic has also given both state status, in essense returning the favor of the Czars. They have various collaborative pastoral and educational initiatives.

Sounds very interesting since I came from a Lutheran background many years ago. Would be very interested in hearing more. Thanks for keepin us informed.
