Dear brothers and sisters,

Today is a day of great celebration because on this day was my first Divine Liturgy in a Greek Orthodox Church three years ago. Every year I always make it a point to thank God for this day!!!

Falling in love with the great traditions of the Christian East greatly changed my life. And everyday, I am discovering more of the Love of our Lord.

Thank you for all your prayers!

In Christ,
eumir bautista

Eumir,

I rejoice with you and pray for you.

May God grant you many years,

Neil

Emuir -

Marvellous! I can remember attending my first Divine Liturgy in Ohio some 17 years ago. It was a life-changing event!

Have you ever thought about forming an Eastern Catholic study group in the spirit of Orientale Lumen to share your enthusiasm with others? You may already have one going, but I just thought that I would ask!

Blessings from the States on this holy anniversary!

Sorry - you listed your affiliation as Catholic, so I assumed that you were an interested RC! Neil clarified your status in a private e-mail message.

Of course, you could still start an Eastern Catholic study group...! wink

Peace -

Gordo,

I've heard that the differences aren't so profound in some areas. Perhaps he lives in a better situation than do we. O that we all might be one.

Perhaps...I certainly was not making any judgemens in that regard. Just being my normal jovial self!

Gordo,

Actually, I may have been wrong. Unlike you, I failed to look at Eumir's profile, which I ordinarily do in the case of someone I don't know well. I reacted to his post, in which he mentioned attending a Greek Orthodox Divine Liturgy.

I really shouldn't post without caffeine and, since I hate coffee without dairy products, that probably means I shouldn't post in the morning hours during the Fast frown .

My apologies.

Many years,

Neil
