I have it on good authority that since the heart and conscience thing has not worked out too well and was found to be too difficult for most Christians to understand - the criteria for heaven has been reduced and simplified to simple to the length of your beard.

Dear Paromer, that's a happy coincidence. Another friend, also named Paul, reports that he too has just grown a beard. Enjoy! Incognitus

Friends,

There are several threads on the forum on the subject of East-West unity.

The Pope says and profeses the Creed with out the filoque. The excommunications between Rome and Constantinople have been lifted.

What's keeping us apart? Tradition. We see the Eastern and Western Churches as separated be cause that's the way it has been for a 1000 years. This tradition is working against the body of Christ.

The world will not be converted to Christ until the Church stops walking around with half a body.

Over 1 billion souls in China are waiting to hear the Gospel.

Impossible for us? All things are posible for God.

"so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me."

Paramor,

Glory to Jesus Christ! You have said it beautifully. May the great high calling of unity in Christ, the special calling of our Church, be realized before our eyes!

Dear Dan:

This early you must be geared towards Valentine's Day!

Addressing Paul as "Paramor" sounds like you could seal it with a French kiss by inserting the missing "u!" biggrin

Dear Paromer,

If it took a thousand years to dig ourselves into this hole we're in, its safe to say it will take us a little longer than forty to get ourselves out. But you're right, things are certainly progressing. Anyways, thanks for your kind words. I think you are the true scholar and gentleman here.

Trusting in Christ's Light,
Ghazar

btw, what the heck does "paromer" mean???

I think I know what "paromer" stands for, but I won't reveal it to anyone, unless . . . the "price is right?" biggrin
