David, isn't that part of the "Diocese of the Southwest" under Bishop +Basil of Wichita? Do you have a resident priest there of the Western Rite? God bless.

Diak,

I'm not sure exactly where we are in the transition at this point, but you are right, we used to be in the Southwest Region of the Archdiocese. It was just a region, of course, because our bishops weren't diocesan, but auxiliaries to the Metropolitan who each had fictitious diocese in Syria or Lebanon.
Now, however, thanks be to God, we will have regular diocesan bishops and some new bishops will be consecrated to care for some new diocese.

It's the result of the Autonomy granted by Antioch last year. The changes are starting to take place, but of course they can't happen overnight.

We do have a priest in residence. Actually we've got two, though only one is employed full time by the parish. There's also another in Dallas (just an hour away) who we see pretty frequently.

If you're ever in Texas, you should stop by!

David
