Is Jeremiah 15:1, seen as proof for the doctrine of the communion of saints, in the Orthodox Church?
Also, I read in the English translation of the Septuagint, by Sir Lancelot C.L. Brenton,
that Jeremiah 15:1 reads, "And the Lord said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before My face, My soul could not be toward them: dismiss this people, and let them go forth." However my Douay-Rheims Haydock Catholic commentary says that the this verse doesn't read as "though Moses....stood" in the Greek. Can anyone clear this up for me? What does the original Greek and Hebrew say on this verse? Thanks.
A sinner,
