I wanted to share with you a ministry of our parish, called Likeness Ministries, which offers sermons in an audio recording. You can find the latest offerings in Real Audio and Windows Media formats at Likeness Ministries [stnicholas-oca.org] .

Father Thomas,

I listened to your sermon on the Qualities of the Holy Myrrh-Bearers. It was excellent. I will be listening to the others as well. Thanks for the link.

Many years,

Neil

Thank you so much! It is wonderful to have a place to go and be filled. Kind of like a filling-station on line. Thanks for all of your work in evengelization for our Lord.

Greetings in the name of the Lord,

I recently learned of an Orthodox website that streams beautiful chant in various languages, talks, prayers, etc. It is www.ancientfaithradio.com. [ancientfaithradio.com.] I emailed them to tell them of my joy in discovering them and listening to them. They informed me that they have only existed for 3 weeks now! The other day I listened to a talk by Father Thomas Hopko. Thus far I have found it very enriching. I highly recommend it.
Christmas Blessings to all as we await the coming of our Lord.

You are welcome. I now listen to it all the time when I am at home. They even have some Catholic Gregorian chant. And I really enjoy the talks. The other day they had a Bishop who was reading from St. Isaac the Syrian and then taking questions from his audience. Unfortunately there is no page with their schedule yet that indicate speaker's names, subjects, and times, etc. But perhaps with more support they will expand. Glory to God!
Peace and joy to you and yours,
Chaire

Thanks be to God!
Oh, wow! Ancient Faith Radio. How so very, very refreshing!

It hasn't been shut off yet!

AND -

Fr. Thomas, I listened to your homily on the Sunday before Theophany 2003. Beautiful. You have such a joy and conviction in your voice. Made me wish that I could be your parishioner! smile

All of these audio efforts are so needed at this present time.

May God bless Fr. Thomas and the folks at Ancient Faith Radio and others engaged in spreading orthodoxy and grant them many years. We need this sort of thing badly today.
