Dear Brother, may God grant you many years of service at His altar. Since this is the Scripture thread I believe you will probably find answers to your questions there. smile

Dear BRO. FRANCIS MARY,

+

I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. Phillipians 1:6

Amen.

Wonderful.... smile

Just continue to grow more and more in love with Jesus. You will do just fine.

Axios, Axios, Axios

May God grant you many years of health, happiness, and joy in your service to Him.

Asking that your patrons, Holy Francis and the Theotokos, intercede for you before the Holy Throne, asking that the High Priest look with particular favor on your ministry and guide you in meeting the needs of His people throughout your years of ministry.

Congratulations. Have a wondeful day and remember us in your prayers.

Neil

Posted on the 11th - you are now Father!

Advise? just one thing... read all you can about Providence - and perhaps Abandonment to Divine Providence by Cassude.

Without an understanding of Providence and how it works in the lives of people - you will be wasting much of your efforts.

Mention me to the Lord if you think of it.

May God grant you many fruitful years as a priest.

..."You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and the great ones make their authority over them felt.
But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant;
whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave.
Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew

Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit! Increase the number of our priests! Make them strong in faith, always alert to your peoples needs, ever profoundly spiritual, understanding and charitable. Grant to priests zeal in their vocation, success in their labors. May they do all things for love of You and love of neighbor. Amen. Pray for priests, O Holy Mother of God, that they may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.
