Does anyone know where I can find a good, wide-margin Bible (suitable for note-taking and highlighting) with the Deuterocanonical Books included?

I would really prefer Douay-Rheims, since I understand it is probably the best English Bible.

Linus,

Tan Publishing is reproducing the Douay Rheims, I don't think the margins are wide.

Thanks, Brother James. There are loads of Douay-Rheims Bibles at my local Catholic bookstore, but I'm looking for wide margins.

I posted a similar thread a while back at OC.net. Somebody made some recommendations at the time, but I was unable to follow up on them. I will hunt up that thread, but as I recall there was some practical reason why I was unable to follow that person's advice at the time.

I was hoping someone here could put me onto a D-R with wide margins for note-taking and study.

A BC priest friend of mine said he knows a man who bought a couple of Douay-Rheims Bibles and took them apart. He then pasted the pages on good quality paper of larger size and - voila! - had a wide-margin D-R Bible. He put his wide-margin Bible in a sturdy binder.

I may end up doing the same thing, although I am a little squeamish about taking apart two Bibles.

Linus,

I prefer using post-its, and a super soft lead pencil, art stores have colored ones which erase easily, italic the passage.

Rebinding is expensive. I don't know about the margins on the Haydock ? Bible, though it has been said that the notes are good.
