In your kindness, please remember my friend Bill who has been diagnosed with hemochromatosis. Tomorrow he will undergo a liver biopsy. Please pray that no cancer be found.

Thank you.

from Liturgy for the Sick: Special Ektenija

O Physician of souls and bodies: with a contrite and humble heart, we prostrate ourselves before You and cry: bring an end to the physical and spiritual pain of your servants. Forgive them all heir sins committed deliberately or because of human fraility. Quickly raise them up from their bed or pain. We pray You: hear us and have mercy.

Dear All,

Thanks for your prayers. Bill's biopsy went without a hitch. No bleeding that would have required surgery.

In your kindness, please continue to remember him in your prayers that no cancer be found.
