My daughter's best friend (his name is Matthew) is leaving for college in 3 weeks and he doesn't have a place to live for the year. He has been working on finding a place but nothing has worked out yet. He is trusting God to provide for him, even if what He provides is his car. I would ask for prayer that God would provide Matthew with a good living situation and that he would know where he will be living before he leaves for school.
Blessings

Most Holy Theotokos, you threw open the doors of heaven for us when you bore Christ, now ask your Divine Son to throw open the doors for Matthew that he will have comfortable and suitable living situation for the coming year and the whole time he is in school. May this time in college draw him closer to the Son of the Living God, our Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy SPirit. Amen

Thank you, friends, for your prayers. At this moment, 3 days before he leaves for college, Matthew still does not have a place to live, but he has made a connection with a couple of other students still looking and may have found a place to rent together. Please pray that God provides a safe place for him to live soon and good roomates who will encourage his faith.
Blessings

Dear Friends,
Today Matthew left our house at 9:30 in the morning with no place to live, planning to live in his car until he found a place to live(he stopped here on his way to school). He had appointments for interviews at two different places this afternoon. At 2:45 he called to say that he found a room in the home of an 80 year old Catholic man who has been renting to students for the last 20 years. So tonight he has a place to lay his head(and, plug in his cell phone!). Thank God for His faithfulness, thank you all for your prayers.
Blessings

It is great to see that the effort of prayer is answered. May he now make the most of his education with the opportunity that God has provided him.

God is good!(but we knew that)
This proves(again! How long will it take me to get this lesson?!) that I shouldn't worry! Matt had it right every time he told me that God would provide exactly what he needed. Good lesson for me..."look at the lilies of the field, they neither toil nor reap but even Solomon, in all his splendor was not arrayed as one of these"!!!

So glad that Matthew has found a place to stay and plug in his cell phone. God is faithful to hear our prayers and is sometimes the God of the last hour or last minute.

Bless Matthew for his obedience, trust, and courage.

May the Lord direct his steps, and protect Matthew always!
