May the Lord preserve his creature the cat and all tamed and untamed animals!

May He bless Alex and all who care for His creatures.

May He teach us all to come to depend on Him as they do us!

Dear Admin,

Thanks for sharing the testamonial for the ionic breeze. I've been looking at one, too.

I really needed the testamonial from someone I trust.

Thanks,

Steve

You mentioned St Seraphim .I have prayed many times that St Seraphim of Sarov to take my prayers to the Lord and I will ask and pray he take this to the Lord also.I really love that Saint and the story of his life really lifts my spirit when I am down.He was a humble and Holy Saint.I wish more Catholic's could know about this Holy Russsian Orthodox Saint.Ops,almost got carried away.I just love his life.Greg

Dear Greg,

Well, I think that St Seraphim of Sarov is now very popular in the West - thanks also to books such as "Flame in the Snow" and Motovilov's conversation with the Saint.

Rome does, in fact, recognize him as a saint, thanks to the work of the Russicum.

My Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy even had a parish named for him.

Dear Friends,

I received a call today that let me know the three little kittens have been adopted out and are doing very well!

As the Esteemed Administrator indicated, I will endeavour to try to get the mother cat.

Alex,

I have 2 black cats. One saved from the gas chamber the other at 6 weeks old I found in my yard. TJ the cat found in the yard had a fit when I caught him. He screamed & screamed. We put him in the bathroom for 3 days to make sure he wouldn't get the other cat sick. By the third day he was at the bathroom door crying for food. You may be able to win her confidence by feeding her regularly. They may not have a soul but I believe they have so sort of spirit that is allowed into heaven. May the patron saints of pets and may the spirits of all the cats who rubbed up against our Beloved Lord's legs look after Carmella the cat.

Shlomo Lkhoolkhoon,
I agree with everyone on the board on this subject. I had to give up my two cats in Toronto to the Human Society, and I miss them very much. One was a little over a week away from her 11th birthday, and the other I had for over 13 years. I still hold out hope that I can go back and get them, but if not, I have pictures to bring back memories.

I would always tell people that they were my little girls. As others pointed out they are our furry masters, but I still have memories of when I have been sick, my Persian would sleep on my chest, and the black would sleep in one of my arm pits.

Well I better stop so I do not start to cry.

Poosh BaShlomo,
Yuhannon

Dear Nicky's Baba,

Yes, that was my experience with my three little ones!

They screeched in an unbelievable tone (either 3 or 4 I think wink ).

So that is how you tamed the little one - how fascinating.

I love cats, but my wife has her allergies and then we have a dog.

They just do things to your heart, don't they (as Yuhannon has found out too!).

What was it Kipling wrote? "Give your heart to a dog and watch him play with it and toss it up into the air - only to fall down to be dashed on the rocks . . ."

Sniff . . .

Alex
