Just heard that this good and gentle man has gone to God's Neighborhood.

May the good Lord show him His loving and fatherly face.

Indeed, the world has lost a truly good human being. A American television "icon" for the last
35 yrs, this humble minister from Latrobe PA has enriched the lives of millions of American childern for over three decades. May God grant his servant a blessed repose and make his memory eternal. Vichnaja jemu Pamjat!

I have many fond memories of "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood" shows from the '70's- '80's. I felt bad when I heard of his death. He truly was a positive influence on all of us who watched his show.

May God make his memory to be eternal!

As I read this topic, I hear Mr. Rogers gentle voice as my youngest (nearly 4) is watching him and responding to what the dear man is saying. I hope that the shows will be kept on PBS for a long time. Even my older children still like the How-things-are-made films on Picture-Picture.

According to the "Mister Rogers Neighborhood" web site many of his sweaters were knit by his mother.

May the Lord take Mr. Rodgers to His Neighborhood. May He grant the same welcome to all who work to help children to be the humans that He intends them to be.
