In your charity, please pray for a family found murdered on Friday in their home in Jersey City, NJ.

I am watching the news and they were showing the funeral. The family are Coptic Christians from Egypt. They were found bound and gagged and stabbed to death. The father had been debating Muslims on a website chatroom and the Muslims said they knew who he was and that he was going to be killed like a chicken.

Today, the Coptic Bishop showed up for the funeral and there was a mini-riot.

Lord have Mercy!

This is not good news.

Lord have mercy on the family who were killed

and those who killed them need our prayers too.

Let there be peace in that troubled neighbourhood.

Mark:

Does anyone know what the debate was about? Is it possible that we have here a family of martyrs for the Faith?

Comfort their family members left here with us to wonder why this happened.

Forgive those who took the lives of Your servants.

Through the prayers of the Mother of God, Lord, hear us and have mercy.

Memory Eternal.

May the Lord receive this family into the bosom of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and place them among the righteous Saints in glory and may He bring peace and a spirit of forgiveness to the much-suffering Coptic community!

Prayerfully in Christ,

Prayers for Hossam, Amal, Sylvia, and Monica, that the Lord lead their souls to a place of light and love, a place of peace and joy, where there is neither pain nor suffering, neither grief nor sighing, but only life everlasting.

Memory eternal.
