Would you please offer your prayers and support for Fr. Michael Mokris and the Faithful of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Lopez, Pennsylvania? This small struggling community had been a mission for years, and recently began a renewal, both physically and spiritually. We heard that a candle flame or spark from incense following a Liturgy on Saturday, Sept. 4 ignited a fire that totally destroyed their newly remodeled church building. Please ask that the people of this community not give up the good work they had begun, and pray that they will trust that God will guide them through this tragedy.
