In your charity, please remember my friends, the Gerahty family, who lost their entire home last night in a fire.
Thanks be to God they all got out safe, but now they have only the clothes on their backs, for all of the contents of their home were completely destroyed in the blaze.
May the Risen Christ keep them under His watchful eye.

T'is sad news, but good to hear everyone is safe. Thanks be to God.
My wife (before I met her) experienced her family's house burn to the ground and she too had nothing but the clothes on her back. Lost everything except a picture album. It takes time to recover.
I will offer my prayers for the family. PLEASE tell them not to give up hope. It is not the end, but a new beginning however difficult.

Prayers to Almighty God for His grace and love, and the spiritual strength which only He can grant, to be with the Gerahty family during this very difficult trial.
Our God is showing them AND showing us that our only dependence in this world is really on His mercy, goodness and love. May our prayers unite in Christian brotherhood to help them carry their cross.
May He grant his servants, the Gerahty family, the miraculous means to not only get through this, but to regain all that they have lost.
I pray this, unworthy that I am, in the most powerful name of the Risen Christ!

My heartfelt prayers for this family. May they get though the loss and may they have renewed peace in Christ. In Christ, Mary Jo..who once lost a house (burned to the ground) and many possessions in a fire...
