Please Lord heal your servant Thomas from the wounds inflicted upon him by a person who has turned away from You, the Father of love and peace.
Please also be with Thomas and his son Brian in shielding them from the emotional scars this frightening incident may inflict.
Most blessed Mother of God, wrap your loving arms around them and grant them spiritual solace. Where there is now fear, replace it with peace and trust. Let them put their trust in your Son, and fear no evil ever again. May their faith grow stronger through this incident, and may they grow closer to Jesus, the Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Prayers for the restored good health of Tom.
May our Lord heal Tom and Brian from these terrible memories, and give them both peace of mind.
May the Theotokos extend her veil of protection over the household. May Christ Our Lord wrap the family in His love.
May Tom somehow find it in his heart to forgive the perpetrator.

Prayers for Tom's quick recovery from the physical and emotional wounds that he suffered as a victim of this crime. Prayers, too, for Brian that he is given the strength to overcome the emotional trauma that he suffered seeing his home invaded and his Dad wounded.
"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."

Just saw this, shall pray for Tom and his family! May the serenity of their home soon be restored, with all taint of evil wiped from it!
