Matthew's brain pressure is up, if it does not go down they will have to do surgery because there is too much pressure inside his skull.

May the Lord watch over Matthew and his family, and all of you who bear this burden of concern.... How dreadfully stressful this turn of events must be.

May the Lord guide the situation, whether or not surgery is required, and give everyone involved peace, comfort, and help.

Prayers for young Matthew, that the Holy Theotokos intercede before the Holy Throne for his recovery from this new complication.

At Mass today the gospel was from Matthew - and the priest must have said the name 'Matthew' a hundred times and that was really all I heard of the gospel.

Continued prayers.

It is 3:15 and I set aside all else to join you in prayer.

We've been to Liturgy already so will be praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy this afternoon for Matthew.

Thank you all so much for the continuing prayers. Our priest is not an internet person, but he said please ask everyone we write with to pray. So the family is very thankful for your gifts to them.

Just got back from Church, we did the Paraklesis. Fr. said he is in great parell. But, so far no surgery.

He is back out, Fr. Frank blessed him with the Eucharist and he did move his eye lid as in a blink. Ray, many are saying they feel he hears everything around him. I think that is tremendous sign.

This young man has all the prayers I can muster... begging and pleading with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to spare his life and restore his body to full health and glory.

Matthew's story breaks my heart, for it very closely echoes the last days of my dear husband... and I beseech the blessed Theotokos to spread her mantle of compassion on Matthew and his whole family.
