Alex,
"Is it true that you can't admit it when you are wrong?
No.
I heard a rumour somewhere to that effect ."
As Vergil once wrote "rumour flies faster than truth."

CHRISTOS VOSKRES!

We had an incident here where I live where a woman was arrested on DUI charges and assaulted the arresting officers. They subdued the woman, put her in restraints and she went into a coma.
As it turns out, the woman was diabetic and was having a reaction to medication.
She had not been drinking.
Yes, a lawsuit is pending.
Amazing how medication will affect some people isn't it....
JMHO...

I'm not clear who was judging the Mnsgnr on this board but just to be clear I don't believe that should be done. I don't know who thinks he has been judged but it is my understanding that the matter is being handled in the Eparchical leadership where it should be handled. Though I don't know who has done such judging I surely add my approbation of such actions to those who have judged that judger. Shame on anyone for judging the motives of individuals.

Dear Professor Dan, Something about "judging not" and so on? If so, you have judged wisely! Alex

Alex,
Do you remember Monty Python's "Spam" routine? Insert the word "judge" and you will have a good update on that old skit.
Seriously, the Eparchy seems to be in real trouble. Father Loya may be the youngest priest in the Eparchy and he's 48.
The Uke's and the Melkites seem to have a better handle on the vocational issue than we have. Do indeed, pray for us.

And Pray for Fr. Deacon Terry Farmer, who will become Parma's youngest priest, God willing, on May 18th.

Dear Dan,
It looks like you need a few Akathists . . .
But I hope that perhaps some of our married priests can be coopted by your Church, the English-speaking variety I mean, to help you out and show your bishops that married priests can be a blessing.
We should promote a devotion for married priests and St Peter the Apostle should be its patron - after all, we know he had a mother-in-law.
And where mothers-in-law are . . .
