Dear Friends,

Christ is Risen!

Please join me in praying that God would strengthen with His grace all of us and our loved ones and friends, and especially those of us named Philip ( wink ), through the prayers of the Mother of God, of the Holy Apostles Philip and James, whose feast we (Syrians and Latins) celebrate today, and of all the saints.

May God grant it to all, especially all named Philip and James! May He bless Phil in his growing and maturing in life and Faith. May Phil continue to bring the light of the East to us.

May God bless our Catholicos, Philip Mor Ephrem, and all those who bear this holy name!

May St Philip who brought Christianity to Ethiopia through the Holy Eunuch of Queen St Candace intercede for the Church and people of Ethiopia.

Alex
