This Sunday my daughter Sarah(Sarai here on the forum) will be chrismated and received into the Ukranian Catholic Church. Please pray for her to grow closer to God and for the love of Christ to fill her, as He fills all in all. Also, please keep us, her Protestant family, in your prayers as we want only the best for her.
Jesus Christ is born! Glorify Him!

Congratulations and prayers!

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

Thank you all for your prayers. It's been a long journey(even though it only took two years) to this point and I'm excited to finally be approaching this step. My parents and brothers need your prayers as much as I do. My brothers are not sure how to take my decision to change churches and my parents and I are trying to learn how to meet as fellow Christians no matter how big our differences of opinion or belief are.

Sarah was received into the Church and chrismated this Sunday, Jan 1. Thank you for all of your prayers on her behalf. She is beginning a new life and I pray for many blessings as she learns to love God more and more.
I am realizing, however, that this is a difficult transition for our family. Perhaps some who have experienced this can understand and include us in your prayers when it comes to mind.
Thank you all and blessings for the new year,
Michele

May the peace of Christ which passes all understanding fall upon your family bringing the richness that only his love can give to hurting hearts. Surround Micelle and her family with a perimeter of Your Love and Protection throughout the day today and everyday a hundred yards in all directions. Render any Jezebel spirits, pride, arrogance, or demons that are about trying to stir up anger, or should try to come, deaf, dumb, and blind. Strip them of all weapons, illusions, armor, power, and authority. Disable them from communicating or interacting in any way. Bind, sever, and separate them, sending them directly to the foot of Your Cross without manifestation or harm to be dealt with by you Jesus. May Your Precious Blood cover them, the Holy Spirit fill them, Mary's mantle of love and protection surround them, St. Joseph guide them, the Holy Angels and Saints guard and protect them from all unfortunate events. Protect them from fire, theft, flood, storms, ailments, and accidents of every sort, distress, hardship, curse, and all untoward things. Until you have completed the work you have begun in their family. May your love shine forth so strong in Sarhi and her fiance that they will know within their spirit that the Holy Spirit is guiding you into all truths. May love be their greatest tool of teaching. I ask all this in your Name Lord Jesus I thank and praise you. I love you. Alleluia. Amen!

Dear Michele,

I have just now read this thread. My prayers for Sarah(Sarai) even though she has received Chrismation.

May she live many happy years and grow in knowledge, love, and service in her new "church home."

May you all continue to grow together in the love of the Lord.

Your sister in Christ,

Mary Jo smile
