Lord grant healing and comfort in faith to the Servant of the Holy Altar, Anthony, Metropolitan of San Francisco. Look upon him in mercy and give him an increase in hope which is in You alone. Confirm his faith by allowing him to feel Your presence and sustain him by the prayers and Holy Mysteries of Your Church. Give him peaceful sleep at night and that calm that comes from knowing that he has served You faithfully during this earthly life.

May the Most Holy Theotokos be his refuge and strength and may she be near him to calm his fears and drive far from him all anxiety. St. Nektarios, patron of the sick and those suffering from cancer be his intercessor before the Throne of God and bring him comfort and consolation.

In His great love for us all,
+Fr. Gregory

Prayers for Metropolitan Anthony, that his treatment be efficacious, that he be restored to health and that he be granted many more years in the service of his Lord.

I ask everyone to continue your prayers for our Metropolitan. His treatment is continuing. The doctors are using very agressive therapy which is very hard on His Eminence. We have faith that he will make a full recovery, but that is seeming very far away at the moment.

As most of you know, Our beloved Metropolitan reposed in the Lord on Christmas Day. We will hold his 40-Day memorial at the Annunciation Cathedral in San Francisco on Sunday, January 30.
All are welcome to attend.

Thank You All for Your Prayers on His Behalf.
