Friends,

I'm leaving for college (the University of Georgia) tomorrow morning.

Please pray that my college experience will be safe, fun, happy, and holy.

Thank you!

Dear Garrett:

My prayers go with you!

I am fairly certain on the 2nd and 3rd, with trepidation on the 1st, and with the help of God on the 4th! biggrin

Teen - prayers indeed

That your College experience will be fruitful.

That you will profit from all the new experiences.

That you will make good friendships.

That your faith will not waver and you will be strengthened in it.

Go with God

May God protect you, and preserve your faith and your sense of humour unabated.

Dear Teen Logo,

"Please pray that my college experience be . . . fun and holy . . ."

Can't you make up your mind which one you want? smile

Remember to pray to St Justin the Philosopher and St Catherine of Alexandria - patrons of students in the East.

Prayers for a successful academic year and a year that will become a positive growth experience on your journey into adulthood!

Don't study too much, and come back and visit us sometimes! smile

Best of luck, and by the prayers of all for you may this experience to broaden you academic horizons, also broaden your spiritual life.

May you build not only a life of knowledge, but a life truly in relationship with Him, Jesus Christ who came for all.

God bless you,
Father Anthony+

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

Logos Teen, my prayers for your beginnings in college...that you will find good friends, have excellent instructors, great subjects, learn much, and grow there even more into the "things of God." Keep right on praying!

Seems like I went to college forever...but only about eight years altogether not counting the years I taught at a University. Loved that atmosphere!

And safety for your journey there too!

In Christ and the Theotokos,

Porter
