My cousin-in-law, climber Todd Skinner, was killed in a climbing accident on El Capitan this past weekend ( story [mounteverest.net] ).

Please pray for him; for his wife Amy; for his dad (Todd's mom just recently died as well); and for their three little children, Hannah, Jake and Sarah.

Also, a memorial fund has been set up to help Amy and the kids, at:

Skinner Memorial Fund
Atlantic City Federal Credit Union
704 West Main Street
Lander, WY 82520

Thanks!

May the Lord give rest to His servant Todd, and in His great mercy may He forgive all his sins and transgressions.

May our Lady give comfort to his children, wife, and mother.

My condolences also to you Christine.

In Christ,
Alice

May Todd's memory be eternal and may his wife, Amy, and their children, Hannah, Jake, and Sarah, be comforted by the Lord in their sorrow and have blessed memories of him.

WISDOM 4
7
But the just man, though he die early, shall be at rest.
8
For the age that is honorable comes not with the passing of time, nor can it be measured in terms of years.
9
Rather, understanding is the hoary crown for men, and an unsullied life, the attainment of old age.
10
2 He who pleased God was loved; he who lived among sinners was transported--
11
Snatched away, lest wickedness pervert his mind or deceit beguile his soul;
12
For the witchery of paltry things obscures what is right and the whirl of desire transforms the innocent mind.
13
Having become perfect in a short while, he reached the fullness of a long career;
14
for his soul was pleasing to the LORD, therefore he sped him out of the midst of wickedness. But the people saw and did not understand, nor did they take this into account.
