Please join me in praying for two seminarians of the RC Archdiocese of Kansas City who were involved in a fatal accident last night.
One, Matt Molnar, was killed. Another, Jared Cheek, has already undergone brain surgery and has a slim chance of survival.

Thanks.

May the Lord grants rest to His chosen servant, Matt newly reposed and ready to dedicate his life for the service of God, and grant him light, peace, rest where the saints repose, and eternal memory+.

May the Lord extend His healing hand from high, remove from him this infirmity, raise him from the bed of sickness. If this is not your will Lord, bring him to your heavenly mansion, where there is no pain, suffering and sighing.

May the Lord extend His comfort and love to the families of these two young men, and to the Byzantine Seminary community.

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+

Thank you Fr. Anthony, but I hasten to clarify that the two seminarians were not students here; they were both studying at Mundelein, outside Chicago.

May the Lord grant eternal memory and blessed repose to His faithful servant Matt, and healing to His servant Jarod. And may the Theotokos, Joy of All who Sorrow, comfort the families of both as well as the friends and family of the Archdiocese of Kansas City.

Dear Father Jack,

Thank you for the clarification, but our prayers still go out to these young men and their families.

My prayers for those involved in this awful accident. Eternal rest grant onto one and healing of body to the other. Comfort the families, friends, and Church which they hoped to serve.

In Christ and the Theotokos,

Mary Jo

May the Lord God grant to His servant, Matty Molnar, a peaceful repose in the Presence of He-Who-Is. Eternal Memory!

May the Lord God be merciful to His servant, Jared Cheek, and grant him total healing.

I join in fervent prayer for the repose of Matt Molnar and for the survival of Jared Cheek.

Our prayer for thanksgiving for the other two seminarians who survived.

It appears that Matt and Jared are close friends and who are both sponsored by the St. Mary's Knight of Columbus Council 657 of Kansas City for the RC Archdiocese. They just finished their 1st year seminary training at Mundelein Chicago.

May Matts memory be eternal+
May God grant rest to his servant where the just repose. Almighty Father, grant your peace to the family and loved ones of this young man and all those that were close to him.
Wisdom 4:
7
But the just man, though he die early, shall be at rest.
8
For the age that is honorable comes not with the passing of time, nor can it be measured in terms of years.
9
Rather, understanding is the hoary crown for men, and an unsullied life, the attainment of old age.
10
2 He who pleased God was loved; he who lived among sinners was transported--
11
Snatched away, lest wickedness pervert his mind or deceit beguile his soul;
12
For the witchery of paltry things obscures what is right and the whirl of desire transforms the innocent mind.
13
Having become perfect in a short while, he reached the fullness of a long career;
14
for his soul was pleasing to the LORD, therefore he sped him out of the midst of wickedness. But the people saw and did not understand, nor did they take this into account.
15
3
16
Yes, the just man dead condemns the sinful who live, and youth swiftly completed condemns the many years of the wicked man grown old.
17
For they see the death of the wise man and do not understand what the LORD intended for him, or why he made him secure.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, we have witnessed your healing hand so many times here on this forum, we are asking once again for a young many whos brain is in so much trama to be healed in the light of your mercy heal Jared. Make him whole and as you did the man by the pool, tell him to pick up his mat and walk for his faith has healed him. Also, the four friends let the man down through the roof so you would heal him, you told him he was healed through the faith of a few close friends. Now Jesus take the faith of all those praying for Jared and heal him.

Jesus, the Father says he is watching over his word to perform it. Now in your mighty name Jesus, your power and authority reach down from your throne and heal all of these young men; Jared, Rob, and Mark all for your honor and glory amen.

A suburban newspaper (owned by the Chicago Tribune) reported last Saturday that Jared Cheek, 23, of St. Mary's, KS, died Friday morning at the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, near my workplace.

May he rest in peace.

I have no need to pray for the ones who died as the two are forever with Christ. I pray that the familes (and parish familes) get a conforting blessing, and that they did not die in vain.

Upon reviewing before posting I read that there are police charges against the other surviving two. May the angels protect and comfort the innocent.
