Several months ago I asked for prayers for my friend Liz's cousin Victor, who had been bruitaly beaten. Now they found his father Robert in the same condition. She is asking for prayers..
I need more prayers... a few months ago I asked you to pray for Victor, a young teen robbed and beaten and left for dead. He is recovering well. https://www.byzcath.org/cgibin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=001515#000000
Today I was told Victor's father, Robert, my cousin was attacked with an axe and left for dead in a field near the cemetary. When police saw him, they thought he was dead, upon searching the nearby area, they discovered another man also a victim of attack. I don't know the other man's name but his nickname is Peanut. We are waiting to hear if the two men will pass away from their horrendous injuries to their heads.
Please pray for peace in Attawapiskat and for the conversion of the people. Many afflicted with alcohol and drug problems that cycle right into the next generation as it is growing. It is an enormous problem there and will only get worse as the community prepares to receive compensation for the Diamond mine already working nearby.
