Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Please remember me, the servant of God Timothy, in your holy prayers. I am 20 years old but not in the greatest health. Glory to God, it is nothing life-threatening, but it is very hard. I have anxiety disorder, depression, acid-reflux disease, and some *possible* neurological and cardiac problems. I'm not able to go out of the house much and therefore can't attend Liturgy frown . Please pray for me that I can get better so I can attend Divine Services regularly at my parish (St. Ann's in Harrisburg, PA), and that the Lord God may grant me the ability to do the things that I want to do in my life for His glory.

My sincerest thanks for your prayers...

In Christ,

Timofey, rab' Bozhiy (Timothy, servant of God)

Forgot to mention that I might also have...well, have had since birth...a mild form of autism known as Asberger's Syndrome (I think the spelling is correct).

Dear Timothy,
You will be in my prayers: may you experience full recovery from every one of these things that are presently keeping you from doing all that you wish, including Divine Liturgy.

I believe the spelling is "Asperger's" ...

Prayers for good health!

Sincerely
in the Communion of Saints!

Dear "In the Communion of Saints",

Thank you very much! And about the spelling...it was my first inclination to spell it the way you put it ("Asperger's") but I thought I might have been getting it confused with the Latin "asperges" which as I'm sure you know is a part of the Tridentine Latin Mass...since I was reading an article a few days ago on the structure of the Tridentine Mass. The spellings are very close, but I usually don't get confused too much with spelling. Still, I think that the "p" is right...

In Christ,

Timothy, servant of God

Timothy, I hope and pray that you will overcome these afflictions and begin to have a normal and fruitful life.

May God bless you and keep you in His care.

I will remember you in my prayers tonight.

Michael

Mmmm, no, I didn't know that about the part of the Tridentine Mass. And, I only started to learn a bit about Asperger's a few years ago ... you know more than I about both!

Blessed Francis Libermann, intercede for our friend and servant of God Timothy.

Dear Timothy,

May you find comfort in the knowledge that God gave His own Son great burdens. Certainly he will hear our prayers for you to whom God has given great burdens. May He bless you with strength and courage and the wisdom to see His love for you even in this.

A great "spasibo bolshoye" ("thanks very much") to Adam, Michael, "In The Communion of Saints", Janka, and Steve...and to all those who are remembering me in their prayers. May the Lord God remember you all in His Kingdom!

Dear Timothy,

I will pray for your health and for your Church Slavonic pronunciation.

The hard "G" in "Gospodi" and "Greshnago" is Russian and not traditional Church Slavonic.

But that's O.K.!

Dear in Christ Alex,

Well we Russians...er, those who follow the Russian usage...pronounce it that way. And yes, I consider myself a Russian in many ways, at least an adoptive Russian. Not to say that I'm not proud to be an American, because I most certainly am. Definitely so smile .

Gospodi Iisuse Khriste syne Bozhiy pomiluy mya greshnago!

Domine Jesu Christe, Fili Dei, miserere mei peccatoris!

Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner!

In Christ,

Timothy, servant of God
