Tomorrow's 10 A.M. Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in the village of Lowellville, Ohio marks the 111th year of the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel sponsored by the Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel founded by Italian immigrants. The Mass, celebrated in Italian and English, is the culmination of the feast which includes a carnival, BabyDoll Dance, Italian Band, fireworks, and procession with statue of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel through the streets. Buona Festa!

Today in Lourdes if my past experience is anything to go by , all the Carmelites will join in the afternoon Procession .
It's a wonderful sight as they all come down the slope from the Monastery and join in the celebrations

A sad day for me...I visited my old local parish this morning...no mention of my beloved Mother of Mt. Carmel...my mistake on going there, I always leave spiritually depressed.
