I would ask of you , in your Charity to pray for the soul of my Uncle Philip - the remaining member of my father's family.

He was 87 - and had Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia and actually died last night ,from Endocarditis and DVT.

Philip over the last 10 years has had many medical problems - but fought and conquered them all - Ca Prostrate , Aortic Aneurism , bilateral Knee replacements. He was truly a fighter.

His funeral will be next Friday in the Methodist Chapel in Farsley Yorkshire.

May this brave old man rest in peace.

Anhelyna

May his memory be eternal! And may Christ comfort you in your sorrow...it is especially hard to lose the last relatives one has on a particular side of the family.

Gaudior, who reminds you that He who raised Lazarus and rose Himself has conquered death forever...

Anhelyna,

I'm very sorry; be comforted that your uncle is in a better place and needs must fight no more.

Lord receive the soul of your servant Philip, and lead it to a place of peace and light, a place of joy and happiness, where there is neither pain nor suffering, neither sorrow nor sighing; forgive him every sin that he has committed by word, or thought, or deed, for You alone are without sin and You are a merciful God and the Lover of mankind. May his memory be eternal.
