If you read this early this morning, Saturday, will you say a prayer for our son William and his band. They have been slected to play in the Battle of the Bands, which I know little about, at 10:50 am Central Time. Anyway it is sponsored by a national radio station and in the southeast region, whatever that covers, they had 250 bands apply and only 8 were selected. So they play at 10:50, if they win here, they go on to play in a national Battle of the Bands. Either way, win or loose in that contest and of course winning would be best, it would be a good deal since it would give them exposure.

In Christ,
Rose

Dear Rose,

Your son must be a talented guy! I'm certainly praying for him. Cheering on fellow musicians is one of my vocations smile

Thanks so much for your prayers.

Glory to God! THEY WON!

It was an interesting day, with good responce from everyone for them. The judges were excited about their music and the variety that they are able to do and of course the quality. I am not certain of everything that transpired but one thing I know is the owner of the place where it was at told me that he was very impressed with them. Not just because of their talent, but because of the way they related to people and helped others. So we give the glory to God, because they were looking beyond to see the persons involved. I felt that was rather unusual.

All in all a very eventful day.
