Dear friends,
I have been quite sick for a long time now and I am going in for some pretty serious surgery tommorow so please kepp me in prayers. It will start at 9am Pacific Time. I should be back here sometime next week or the week after that. Thanks for your prayers.

Luke, How I hope your surgery was successful and that you are back, in good recovery, soon. I spent five long, hard months in the hospital and nursing home just around this time last year and "learned" a lot about powerlessness and vulnerability... and lots more, too. But life is good again and I am grateful for so many blessings. I hope you, too, will find life good and richer than ever and that your heart will be even more grateful.
