In your generosity, please pray for our upcoming Otpust to Our Lady of Zhirovitsi at St Volodymyr's Church in Thornhill, Ontario.
We've had one possible miraculous event so far happen . . .
It is a peaceful, prayerful experience that truly draws the participants to God and His Most Holy Mother in a day replete with Divine worship and fellowship afterwards.
Our church needs more of that, and less of all else that occupies so much of our time.

I pray for a truly Holy Otpust at St. Volodymyr's Church. May the intercession of the Holy Theotokos be with your Church. But... what is an Otpust?

Dear Dr Eric, It is an indulgenced pilgrimage. Our former Bishop Vladyka Cornelius Pasichny granted this privilege to our parish. This year we will have his successor in attendance, Vladyka Stephan AND the Slovak Bishop too!!  Alex
