I'd like to ask for prayers of Thanksgiving on the occasion of the birth of my daugher Ailish Anne Newell Born yesterday at 8:30pm yesterday She is named after St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton, to whom my wife and I have a particular fondness (for those unfamiliar with the Irish language, Ailish is Gaelic for 'Elizabeth', and my French Canadian wife likes Anne with an 'e') http://mywebpages.comcast.net/bnewell100460/Ailish.htm May the Lord God, Giver of Life, guide this guide of His to the happiness of Faith -Brendan

How wonderful - many prayers for all the family. Lovely pics too ! May Our Blessed Lady, Mary ever virgin , Mother of us all keep you , your wife and little Ailish Anne in her most tender care. [Just as a thought I always thought it was Eilis - all the Irish ones here spell it like that ]

What a beautiful, precious bundle of joy -- thanks be to God!
May the blessing of the Holy Family and the prayers of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton surround all of you at this happy time!

Dear Brendan:
A glass of Rum and Bailey's Irish Cream for your daughter!
I got misty-eyed, remembering when my own baby girl (in between 2 sons) was born 20 years ago!
Where did those years go? Aahh, I'm just getting old.
Cheers; and enjoy your sleepless nights!

In addition to this little 'blessing', may both she and her family receive many more. May your happiness continue for a thousand years!
Blessings!
