I don't like to ask for prayer for myself as I feel it to be selfish, but I'm desperate. Several months ago a man asked me to move in with him to help buy a house together. I missed some work and spent six weeks moving in and getting settled. A couple of days after moving in this man tells me he changed his mind and does not want a roommate. He got a new job that pays well, his sister did very well with her legal problem while I was stressed while moving. (I hate moving). My job has slowed down or they are not giving me as much work, my savings are gone and I don't have enough money to move even if I could find a place to go. My prepaid attorney tells me he has to give me 30 days notice except that his lease is expired and his landlord has to give me the notice. His landlord has not tried to contact me although I went to his office to tell him I was a roommate. My roommate gave me 15 days notice Sept 21 and plans to go to the District Justice on the 5th. This is a small redneck town and I feel like a Thanksgiving turkey.
If he is successful I will loose everything I have and be homeless with no job within a month. He is acting like he had some homeless person move in and can't deal with the mental illness. I had a semi-confortable home in a bad neighborhood for two years before I decided to accept his offer to move and buy a house together.

Richard...
My prayers are for you.
Another instance of someone taking advantage of a nice guy.
I have a saying that often helps me in situations like this ... "This too shall pass" and you will survive. God knows all about it. You will survive.

Prayers for a favorable outcome.
Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

We pray for this whole situation to be placed in God's order. And know that our Lord who is the lover of mankind and our provider, will provide the place for you to lay your head. As he told the apostles, the Son of Man has no place to lay his head. Then he says not to worry, the flowers of the field, the birds of the air want for not, he meets all of their needs and he will meet yours also. Through the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, amen.
