Hi everyone,

I'd be graciously thankful for your prayers regarding my health and my music career.

As a musician one spends his whole life dreaming endlessly for the day when he's offered a recording contract. We have been making significant inroads in the industry, and today my producer will shop our product around to 2 major record labels before embarking on a trip to Los Angeles. Please pray not only for our intentions but also for the producer's spiritual welfare.

My second prayer request involves my health which is being battered around by an anxiety problem and its repercussions, together with some side effects from the medication i've recently started. It's really been a long and exhaustive battle so i'd be grateful for your prayers that the Lord will finally lift this cross.

Many thanks to all,

Sant

Dear Sant,

May our loving Lord grant you His peace and give you the grace to accept it. Jesus, heal his health problems. And let his agent find success with the record producers.

Lord have mercy!

May the Lord grant His healing to Sant. May Sant know the power of that healing and find the peace that is there.

May the choir of angels and martyrs and saints intercede for Sant and those aspiring to careers in music.

Dear Sant,

I've been sitting here wondering how, apart from the obvious [ which is being done wink ] to respond.

Musicians are under tremendous strain all the time - both physical and mental. [ Daughter # 2 trained as an orchestral musician and is not now one].

What can I say but -- hang on, with everything you have got , toenails ,eyebrows, fingernails, the lot.

You are not alone - we are with you holding you there with our prayers.

May Our Blessed Lady, Mary ever virgin, Mother of us all and My Beloved Mistress, keep you safely in Her most tender care.

Anhelyna

Heartfelt thanks to all for your support!

Anhelyna, can't agree with you more, it's tough for us. Even tougher if you're one of those artists who keeps his clothes on and doesn't sell sex sex sex...those record companies...

May God shower you all with His graces!

Dear Sant,

I too have found it difficult to 'face the music' at times . . .

I would suggest you see an alternative health practitioner to give you something more natural for anxiety.

Praying the Lord's Prayer many times can help.

But when all else fails, there is a prayer that the Saints say destroys our feelings of trouble or despair, no matter what they are.

These are the words of Psalm 70 "O God come to my assistance. O Lord, quickly come to help me."

Or else, lose yourself in a mystic repose in the Name of Jesus.

There was one farmer whom everyone thought was a saint because his land always received enough rainfall, even when neighbouring farms experienced drought.

The local abbott went to see him and asked him if he said any special prayers etc. to obtain such favour from God.

But the farmer protested saying, "I don't do anything out of the ordinary Father - I only want for my crops what God wants for them!"

After seeing how much this man was submitted to the Will of God, the abbott stopped wondering about this miracle . . .

Dear Alex,

Thanks for the encouraging advice. I rely quite heavily on natural remedies for my ailments and they certainly do help, i'm referring in particular to vitamins, probiotics and herbal teas. It strikes me how devastating allergies can be, in a far greater scope than generally accepted. A dietician/allergist linked MSG, preservatives and artificial colorings to many of my symptoms (they've consequently been totally eliminated from my diet). Candida albicans was also to blame for past episodes of asthma, depression and digestive troubles, but the medical community generally fails to acknowledge, quite arrogantly, these more far reaching, extensive symptoms.

I'd have to rate natural remedies as my greatest discovery, second to Eastern Christianity smile

Many thanks for your support,

Sant
