Please pray for the Orthodox Churches in India...both of them. As many of you know, there have been problems here and there with the two main parties, the Patriarch's party and the Catholicos' party, for many years.

Now there's a Synod meeting going on this week over there, in the hopes that an agreement can be reached (the main problem right now is some bishop from the Patriarchal party wanting to be the big shot after reconciliation happens...he says if he gets to run the show, he'll bring all of the Patriarchal people into reconciliation and reunion...well, no one likes a ham, especially when humouring that ham involves giving one of your own bishops the shaft), and reconciliation can happen, and both Churches can reunite and become one big Orthodox Church again. Many say that it's hopeless, and that the present state of affairs will continue for years to come, and it certainly seems that way. Nevertheless, they're gonna keep trying, and I'm hoping you'll pray, and keep praying. smile

May both sides meet and reconcile one with the other during this Season of Preparation for the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ.

May the Spirit be with them and may He give them Wisdom and Understanding to do what He wills

May Our Lord Jesus Christ unite them by the prayers of the Most Holy Mother of God, Mor Thoma, Mor Gregorios, Mor Severos, Mor Dioscoros, Mor Ephrem, Mor Philoxenos, Mor Timotheos and all the Oriental Saints. Amen!

May the Lord come to the aid of His servants; may He engender in them the spirit of cooperation, kindness and love. And may He kick serious butt for those who put their own needs before the needs of God's people.

Blessings!

May they all remember what Christ himself wanted: That all may be one.
