Please pray for the soul of my wife's stepfather, Joe Taylor, who died today from a heart attack at the age of 50.
He had his first heart attack in his 30s, had experienced recent heart problems, but lacking health insurance, was unable to get help.
In spite of his name, as the son of an Calabrian mother, he was very Italian. Raised Catholic, he had long been away from the Church.
For a while he had been an evangelical, but in recent years, so far as we know, he had been unchurched, though I am sure he had faith.
In spite of a difficult life, he was a good guy, and my wife loved him dearly.
May God bring him into his kingdom...

May Joe Taylor's memory be eternal+

Through the mercies of our Lord Jesus Christ which were poured out for him on the Cross bring him to everlasting life.

Most Holy Theotokos pray for the family, especially Danials wife, that they may be at peace and rejoice in your love. Wipe away the tears and let them recall the good, and that they see the light of Christ shine forth. Amen

I added him to our prayer list today at the Soul Saturday liturgy.
