My son in law and I have both posted before requesting prayers for my daughter's extreme nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. She is now into her 15th week and she is still suffering due to hyperemisis gravidarum. Because of this illness she is frequently dehydrated and has had an iv 4 times(probably needed it more than that) and has lost more than 10 percent of her body weight and is literally starving. This illness may naturally begin to get better between 16 -21 weeks or may last all nine months. It is not simple morning sickness. She is helped by a medication that is very expensive and so far it has been a trial to get it for her-it's only been prescribed by ER doctors for her, who cannot write refills for her. She needs to be seen by an OB right away but we are having some difficulty getting an appointment with one due to circumstances beyond our control at this time. Please pray for relief of her symptoms, for protection of her health and that of her baby and for the way to be made straight for her to get under the consistent care of an OB this week. Finally, please pray for her husband who is responsible for her constant care, for his strength, endurance and wisdom.
Blessings
Michele

Prayers for Michelle's daughter that, through the intercesstion of the Holy Theotokos and the Unmercenary Physicians Cosmas and Damian, her illness be resolved and she be restored to health, and that she and her unborn child be safe and well through the remainder of her pregnancy.

Dearest sister in Christ, Michelle,

My unworthy yet heartfelt prayers to Almighty God that your daughter's health will be taken care of and restored. My prayers for the health of her precious unborn conception. My prayers for her husband, and for all of you at this time--that you will endure this trial of difficulty and worry with faith and hope.

My prayers that all that seems unnerving and chaotic with this pregancy will be restored to good order and that their guardian angels will protect your daughter and her child.

Through the intercessions of our sweet Mother of God who, in a very special way, is our patron of motherhood before the Heavenly throne of her Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!

In Christ,
Alice

My Dearest Jesus,

Please watch over Michele and her unborn baby in this trying time. Help her get well, and give her and her family peace and a newborn that is the best of your creation...

My prayers are with your daughter and you. If the medication you are speaking of is Zofran, please call GlaxoSmithKline directly and explain your situation. They may be able to donate the drug.

May the Lord God grant healing and health to his servant, and bless her pregnancy.

May the Mother of God, enfold the mother and child in the mantle of her protection!

Through the intercession of St. Gerard Majella, I pray for Michelle's daughter. May her difficulties cease and may this blessing progress without incident!

Aren't Michelle's daughter and son-in-law members here? I think I remember that they posted frequently before they got married.

Thank you all for your prayers. Sarah and Matthew are indeed members here and many of you have blessed them and us with your prayers for their engagement and marriage.
I have just returned from visiting Sarah-she was admitted to the hospital for a day and a half and has been rehydrated. She seems to be doing better and we are hoping this will give her the edge in managing her symptoms. Also, she is almost 16 weeks, the beginning of the time that hyperemesis may begin to ease.
Please include in your prayers the faithful doctors and nurses who cared for her. They were so kind and comforting-I know they were an answer to many prayers.
We were totally awed and blessed to see the baby in an ultrasound and all is very well with him or her. A very active little baby(like mom and dad) and quite beautiful(says Grandma smile ).

God bless,
Michele

AMEN!

Blessed Mother, hold these children of yours tightly and comfort them, asking your Son to see them safely through...

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen....

Mary Jo,
Thank you, but oh dear, there's that Grandmother word again! wink Actually I am overjoyed that the baby seems healthy and very active. Sarah is doing much, much better and has even gained weight, which is nothing short of miraculous.
Thanks be to God and to all of His people for their prayers.
With love
Michele

AWESOME! Thank you Sweet Jesus!

Through the prayers of the Most Holy Theotokos, may this child be a testimony to life and the love of God!

Michelle our grandbaby is the BEST medicine the Lord could have given us. He is such a blessing, so much fun, and lots of work, but that is good. biggrin

So just enjoy the happening.
