Hello all,
I don't know if it's to true ettiquite, but please pray for me. I have lymes disease and I was given the oppurtunity to get rid of the majority of it. The cost? All the toxins that I should have had slowly pumped into me over the rest of my life are going to dumped into my body in a month or so. It's rough already, I started taking the stuff Friday (three days ago) and my body is already being hit hard. I can barely think right now, I'm just typing down words hoping they make sense. I've done nothing stressful and I have a headache to beat the band (and my brains for that matter).I'm exhausted, and so ditzed out it frightens me. Plus I have to work to pay for college.
Just please pray. I'm hurting and it hasn't even started yet.
As a thanksgiving, isn't God good for giving me the way out? At least I'm praising Him for that..

I am sorry to hear that this is already causing you so much suffering. I hope that you're in close touch w/your dr. so as to monitor everything.

I was under the impression that lyme disease was easily cured through a month-long oral antibiotic regiment. Be assured of my prayers during this time!

When any drug regimen makes you feel like that, something sounds wrong.
Please be in touch with your doctor and be assertive. If you cannot be assertive, then please ask your parents to help intervene with the doctor's on your behalf.
In today's medical world, we need to be our own advocates and we need to have as much information about our disease and the drugs we are taking (thank God for the internet) as possible. For some reason, doctors just aren't acting responsibly today as they did years ago.

CDL Actually, Mr. Lauffer, I was at Saint George's talking about Transfiguration college, that's a piece of good news in and of itself. But even there I was fading by two in the afternoon. When any drug regimen makes you feel like that, something sounds wrong. What's worse about this is that it isn't very much worse than what I was already feeling anyway, I was fully warned that the medicine would make it feel worse for about a month or so. I appreciate the prayers.
