Below is my private message to the Administrator, reprinted here by me, with minor revisions, for your prayers:

At around 5:00 a.m. this morning, Chicago Time, I received a long distance call from the Philippines that my father, ESTANISLAO, just died in the hospital to where he was rushed 3 days ago. He was 82.

Your prayers and those of our cyber-parish in the Byzantine Forum for the eternal repose of his soul would be deeply appreciated by us here in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, and Honolulu, and by the other members of the family back home, especially my mother.

Thank you so much for your intercessions and may he rest in peace.

Grant rest, O Lord, to the soul of your departed servant in a place of light, joy and peace, where there is no pain, sorrow, or mourning, but life-everlasting.

Eternal Memory!

Adamo, please provide us with his name so that we may pray for him by name.

May the angels lead him into Paradise.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.

May he find joy in the Presence of the One Who Called him. May you and all of your family and friends find consolation in His Presence at this time of sorrow.

May the Lord lead His servant Estanislao into the heavenly kingdom where there is no pain, sorrow or mourning. And may the Lord grant spiritual peace and quietude to those who are left behind. Lord, have mercy.

Raise up Your servant Estanislao, O Lord, on the last day, as once You raised up Your servant Lazarus from the tomb, thus revealing before Your Passion the mystery of the Resurrection.

My family joins me in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to all those in this cyber-parish who, in one way or the other, prayed for the eternal repose of my father's soul.

Our special thanks goes to the Administrator, OLSOL Angela of Glasgow, Kelly, the holy Monk Elias, Inawe, Dr. John, Nicky's Baba, Entomos, Mor Ephrem, and, lastly but not the least, defreitas who additionally found the time to convey their personal condolences during our hour of bereavement.

Dear Amado,

I ,for one, know how much I appreciated the prayers of all here when I was, and still am, in need of them. Rest assured that you, and I am sure I can speak for all of us here, and your Family are still very much in our prayers.

May the joy of the Risen Christ be with you all as you rest knowing that your father Estanislao is with Christ

May the Father pour His Healing Grace on you and bring you peace.

May Our Blessed Lady , Mother of us all, who suffered with Her Son, keep you all in Her Care

Angela
