I humbly ask for your prayers for my dad, Ed, who suffered a stroke on Dec. 27th.
He is still hospitalized but is doing pretty well at this point.

Also, I would ask prayers for my sister-in-law, Darlene, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on Jan. 2.

Bill

Merciful God, be with your servant Ed who seeks your consolation. Let your divine presence rest on Ed and Darlene that they may be healed of the terrible afflictions they now suffer. Breathe your spirit upon his family, that they may know your love for them as they care for Ed and Darlene and that they may draw strength from your compassionate mercy.

Prayers for Ed, that his recovery continue, that he be soon restored to full health, and that God grant him many years.

Prayers also for Darlene, that she be spared the debilitation that sometimes accompanies this disease and continue in a life of health and purpose, secure in the love of her family, and that God grant her many years.

That the Lord heal Ed and Darlene by the power of His Resurrection...so that they may give Him thanks and praise in His Holy Church!

May their bright radiant guardian angels, given them by God at baptism strengthen them and may the Most Holy Mother of God be near them and take them by her holy hand!

Prayerfully remembered,
+Fr. Gregory

+Father Archimandrite Gregory, who asks for your holy prayers!

To All,

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who take the time to respond to the prayer requests and also those, like myself, who don't often post replies but keep the intentions posted here in their prayers.

My dad is recovering faster and better than anyone originally thought he would. My sister-in-law has accepted and is dealing with her situation much better than when she first got the news of her diagnosis. The power of prayer can't be denied. Once again, thanks.

In Christ, Bill
