God's peace be with you... Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen....

I now ask for only one last prayer from you my brothers. That God will show mercy on a sin I will commit. Nothing more can be said but please DO pray for me.

DOMINVS VOBISCVM I only hope and pray that you are not thinking of committing suicide, are you? Please call and talk with your priest. Talk with your parents. Keep on posting because we all go through heartbreaks all our lives.

I did not imply anything like suicide. If that is what I meant I won't tell you. I think suicide is something too personal for someone to ask opinions on. Anyway, I can tell you that today I feel slightly better than I did yesterday. I went and prayer at our school church and it was nice to eat antidoron after so much time.
Please, do not worry for me that much. I am not worth that much of attention anyway.
But thank you. Truly. It's good to see that some people care.

Dear Armando, There is no need to commit any sin as the Grace of Christ is sufficient for us in our struggles. We will fall but we can get up in the hope of the great strength afforded us in our Lord, God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as you know, since you are Greek! Think about Alexander the Great! Do you remember when he walked about his wounded soldiers and found one man who didn't seem to have anything wrong with him. "Why are you here?" the general asked. "I am very afraid of battle, Commander," the man replied. "What is your name?" the royal general pursued. "Alexander," the man said. "Alexander! You have my name!" the general exclaimed. "You must either change your behaviour - or else you must change your name!" And our name is "Christian . . ." Besides, Armando, as a Roman Catholic Greek, you are living in the best of two great worlds! If you are upset about that girl thing, I too was upset after my first love refused to even acknowledge my affections (she had no trouble going out on expensive dates with me, but, to be fair, she did tell me not to fall in love with her and I should have just left her alone). I thought I was going to die without her. But, years later, I know that it was God Who led me out of that relationship, kicking and screaming, because I would have been in a terrible situation had I married her and would have probably have been divorced by now or worse. But you live in Hellas - there are all kinds of things to do and places to see (and other girls to have fun with). If you were living in North America, I could understand, but in beautiful Hellas? Get out there and have some fun. Stop thinking so much as it can get to you. It gets to me . . . And then I get to the Administrator, who I'm sure doesn't appreciate it. Neither does my wife, who becomes my next target . . . Alex

I was gently reminded the other day by a post elsewhere regarding a saintly quote that I had forgotten by loved...
"Do not be surprised that you fall every day, do not give up, but stand your ground courageously...and assuredly, the angel who guards you will honor your patience". - St. John of the Ladder.
Prayers for your strengthening and may the shadow of the evil one be rebuked by the Light of the Risen Lord...

We Christians do care. And if we didn't, then we really shouldn't be calling ourselves Christian. The early Christians were known for their love. "See how they love one another." Lovingly in Christ, Elizabeth Maria

Armando I will be in prayer for you. Perhaps you could pray for me as well? I am struggling with letting my daughter grow up and get married-she is only 18-and today is very hard. When I was young I had to get over a relationship with a young man. It hurt so much and I was so depressed. I went to a counselor at school(I was in college) but he gave me just an hour of his time and very little help. I think he just thought I was sad about a boy and I'd get over it. I realized later that I needed more help than that, because the real issue was depression and despair, not the end of the relationship so much. That help came to me from Jesus Christ and over the years He has been my steady rock. But, sometimes we need God to send us someone who will be "Jesus with skin on" if you know what I mean. We need to help one another because He first loved us. We need to help one another just because we all need help. When I am in depression I still know the truth, that God is awesome, powerful, loving and present, but I believe the lie, that I am all alone and unable to be helped. There is no help for me, I think. But there is, there always is, because God will never forsake you or leave you. He is with you now. I think the two most awesome, powerful words in the whole English language(or any language) are "He is." When we feel that we are not able, He is. When we feel that there is nothing good, He is. When we feel alone, He is. The very fact that He is, that He is the living God who knows each of us intimately, that He is standing beside you, that He is in the very air you breathe, is a powerful comfort. We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, whether you call them by name and ask for the prayers of individual saints or you don't, they are real and they are praying for God to intervene and bring you comfort and to bring you victory over the darkness. Do not let the Evil One have this victory. Oh Lord God of Hosts, send your army to battle the forces of darkness that are surrounding our brother Armando. Give Him strength and let him feel the depth of Your love and his worth in Your eyes. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Amen Michele

Armando, dear brother in Christ,
May the Risen Lord Jesus Christ bring peace into your soul and enlighten your life, your path to the Heavenly Kingdom. Amin.
